We are looking for an experienced Development Officer (DO) of Data and Systems to join New Visions’ growing Development team. The DO is a new and critical position that will report to the Managing Director of Development (MDD). The DO will work closely with the MDD to establish and implement effective processes and systems that support and advance the organization’s fundraising goals. The DO will help build and maintain key development systems and infrastructure to support a growing professional development office, serve as the development operations lead and support the MDD in cross-departmental collaborations with finance and operations, marketing and communications, and school support/programs, and supervise a full-time Development Assistant.

3-4 years of development operations and fundraising CRM systems experience required
Successful experience with creating and managing key development operations and systems that can support a growing professional development office
Excellent technical aptitude and experience with report writing tools, advancement systems and proficiency with Raiser’s Edge/ NXT or other donor/ fundraising CRM
Excellent analytic and research skills to gather and determine essential data from a variety of sources and the ability to manage projects that require attention to detail and process management
Experience at education or social service nonprofits highly preferred
